Following the implementation of knowledge-based and leading projects in the field of science, Hani Energy Company, this time at the request of the power plant, carried out the project of static excitation system without transformers of 320 MW gas units of the power plant equivalent to UNITROL600 ABB. This project has been carried out for the first time on the largest power plant unit in the country in terms of power and excitation system with the highest level of excitation voltage. The biggest challenge of this project is the high voltage and current level of the excitation system and the current level of 4000 amps and the existence of high losses in the thyristor bridge, which has been eliminated by using the cooling hydro thyristor system of the thyristor bridge. Another noteworthy point is the existence of redundancy index in the control and power of the project. This project has been carried out in 140 days by the efforts of three teams of electronics, electrical and mechanics in Hani company.
